Housing Justice is the national voice of Christian action on homelessness and housing. An important part of its mission is to support church responses to homelessness, including the growing network of Church and Community Night Shelters in London and across the UK. Housing Justice has convened a forum for the network of Night Shelters for over a decade, and this year has launched a new set of standards, the Housing Justice Quality Mark or HJQM.
The new HJQM was launched on the 27th of November at the House of Commons, alongside a new report on the impact which Night Shelters are having on homelessness. Speaking were Stephen Timms MP, Daniel Singleton of FaithAction, and Alison Gelder of Housing Justice.
Housing Justice has made a gallery of photos from the event available.
